Make it Memorable Reading 2

One thing I found interesting is that the main reason they do stories to get reaction from the viewers. They have to think about if the viewer will get angry, sad or happy with the news. How the viewers are affect not the people they are doing a story on. Another think I found interesting is that said great is like onion because onions have many layers and great stories should. They should have a good tale on the outside and great images and sound that capture the story. I agree with with Dotson on the part he said about having universal elements. It is true that we should highlight the emotions that interest the broadest group of viewers. That way the story will be watched and people can relate to it too. As a writer I believe it is good to write a good stories that let the readers feeling emotion and the stories should have depth to it. However, I need to improver on letting the reader experience the story not just learn about it like Dotson said.

In the beginning the reporter used defeat the TV remote control. He was describing and making a image of the scene that happened. When Nate and Nick switched. He used little details like how they looked, what one twin had on his arm and how they made the shot. He wrote like how he would converse. For example when he was telling that Nick was gone and Nate was there. He said you guessed it and then told what happened next. He wrote it as he would say it if he were to do on camera. The way he wrote about how they once for fun switch and went to each others class.  He was explaining what happened and used the quotes effectively. Also, he wrote a surprise in the end where all the people from different place gave money to help out. Another surprise was when they got another shot to do the challenge at the youth hockey program.

There is a defeat the TV remote control at the beginning when the reporter was saying the cold outside was making everyone cry. But then he talked about how the cold was not the only thing that made the lady cry. He got more in depth with the story. He talked about how it was her last game watching and cheering on for her kids. The surprise in the story is that she has 12 sons who played football. They are all grown up now and she was watching the last game of her youngest kid. The reporter was talking with the lady, the husband and kids. He was talking with them as he would and asking questions that he would ask normally. There were not gobbledygook and cliches in the story. For example, the would have used football terms in the interview or would have said cliche things like good thing must come to an end. But he didn't and he was good with letting the viewer have better image with the talking to the sons too. That way he get to see her sons and how they are.
